Jim Anderson did a great job. From the moment we hired Jim Anderson to film our wedding, we knew we were in kind and capable hands.  In discussions before the ceremony, Jim asked thoughtful questions about our concerns and wishes.  Jim easily elicited from us a list of moments we felt would be the most important to capture, and an understanding of the terrain and challenges of videotaping our (outdoor and indoor) wedding site.

One of our biggest concerns was that he not be obtrusive (as so many wedding videographers at our friends' weddings have been).  We wanted people to see the bride walk down the aisle, not the back of some camera-man!  Instead of disrupting the service by running around with one camera, blocking our guests' view, Jim ingeniously brought THREE cameras, and positioned them in prime locales.  He got great shots of everything - and everyone got to see how beautiful the bride looked in her dress!

During the reception, Jim and his staff really showed their mettle. All trained documentary makers, they are super-skilled at capturing people candidly - relaxed and having fun.  We barely knew they were there!  Until we got the expertly and beautifully edited video free of the kind of stilted, uncomfortable "I'm in the spotlight now!" moments we've seen in our friends' videos.

More than a home movie of the event - our wedding video is like a high-quality feature film.  Jim edits the multiple perspectives seamlessly and beautifully, so there is a terrific flow and story.  When we show our video to friends and family, they are brought right back to the thrilling day.  To top it all off, Jim included a 6 minute condensed video of the entire event, set to one of our favorite songs.  This "music video" is a way of allowing people to experience our event in one bite-sized morsel - and it has quickly become a family favorite.

Perfect! Professional level quality.  Jim, an expert camera man, was very non-intrusive -- but still got all the best shots.  AND from multiple angles!                  The edited wedding video was like a feature film, it was so good.  The extra six-minute music video, an abbreviated version of the whole ceremony                  and reception, was a touching, quick way of giving friends and family an experience of our wedding without boring them.                                                                  Hire Jim Anderson!
